Seidah Williams is a painter, muralist, and visual artist working in the traditions of the Black figurative canon — reclaiming portraiture as a site of dignity, memory, and ancestral presence. Each piece below is available as a one-of-a-kind original or as a signed, museum-quality print in your choice of size.
Current Series
They are not gone. They live within us, in every cell, every breath, every choice we make. Eggun. The ancestors. The ones who walked before us, whose wisdom flows through our bloodstreams, whose strength is coded into our very existence. Nine faces emerge, each carrying unique patterns, the markings of different lineages, different journeys, different gifts. Yet all are interconnected, bound together in the eternal spiral of life. The warm sunset colors represent the fire they passed down to us—passion, resilience, dreams that refuse to die. The cool waters below symbolize the depths of ancestral memory, flowing from generation to generation, never forgotten, always alive. We are not separate from those who came before. We ARE them, continuing their story. Their DNA dances in ours. Their voices whisper through our intuition. Their love surrounds us like the bold lines that hold these faces together. When you honor your ancestors, you honor yourself. When you live with purpose, you honor them. Who do you carry with you?

Limited edition archival prints are available for each piece above. Every print is signed, numbered, and produced on museum-quality stock, with editions limited to 10 per image.

Originals & Commissions
Commission slots are limited and open seasonally. When open, commissions begin at $1,800 for portraits and increase based on medium and complexity. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to hold a slot.
